Venture is a new initiative offered by DSM International. It is a 6 week discipleship program with our ministry team in Port au Prince, Haiti. Members of the program will be a part of a team who will be learning more about God’s word, ministry, missionary life, and more, in a cross cultural setting. You will have opportunities to put what you learn into practice within various ministries in Haiti. You will live at our ministry center, Our House of Hope, in a dorm like situation, under the leadership of our DSM International missionaries. We are searching for people who are looking to step out of their normal and see what God has in store for them. We pray this will be a time for each Venture team member to grow into a deeper relationship with Christ. We desire that our Venture team will discover how God can use the unique gifts He has given each member to bring Him glory. Come Venture with us! Matthew 16: 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? Cost: $3000. This will cover your room, board, emergency care insurance, medical evacuation insurance, ministry expenses, and special experiences in Haiti. This amount does NOT include the price of your airline tickets to and from Haiti, nor any personal spending money while you are in Haiti. Dates: September 30th - November 11th. To begin the process of becoming a part of the Venture Team, you must fill out this application form. Filling out the application does not guarantee your spot. This is just your first step of the application process to be accepted to the program. If you are not accepted, your deposit will be returned to you. DSM International will then contact you to further discuss your interest in the Venture Program. If you are then notified of your acceptance into the Venture program, all of your funding for the trip would need to be raised in full by September 1, 2024. Before filling out this application, spend some time in prayer seeking God’s will for you in this season of your life. Short Term MissionsDSM International organizes several short-term mission trips each year. Individuals and groups are welcome to be a part of these trips. In addition, we tailor make trips for other groups.
